FREDRICK BOTTEN
Chief Executive Officer
I am Fredrick Botten, CEO of Encouragement Corner Outreach. I'm a former associate pastor of Lifeline Christian Center Ministries. I served under the leadership of Bishop Anthony Claxton. I have always had a passion for people and the community. I began doing evangelism at Lifeline with the desire to go beyond the four walls with an outreach program. My wife, Laquana Botten and I started going to impoverished areas providing blankets, toiletries and food to people in those areas. We prayed for those individuals and led some of them to Christ.
God began to give me a vision for Encouragement Corner Outreach. When God gave me the vision, I began to want to encourage and empower others by applying the word of God for everyday living. We want to provide mentoring, leadership and ministry for youth, men, women and seniors. We have established both a Brotherhood and Sisterhood program. Our desire is to provide a Kingdom family structure. Our outreach declaration is "Wherever you are, God's love will find you".
ELONDA DAVIS
Administrator / Treasurer
I am Elonda Davis, Administrator/Treasurer of ECO. I have been a part of the Encouragement Corner Outreach program for quite a while. I became interested in joining the outreach to be a help and provide support while the program was being established. My husband supported my work and interest in the program from the beginning. I have an accounting degree and wanted to help establish this non-profit organization. I have always been a compassionate person with a desire to encourage and support those who need a hand. I believe that "Wherever you are, God's love will find you".
Dwayne Sylvester
Director
Dwayne Sylvester is the owner of Hair Creations Studio Salon in Eastpointe, MI. He is a husband and father who has a passion for others. Dwayne started his nonprofit organization called Building Hope in 2019. In his nonprofit organization he is paving the way for young men to become entrepreneurs and business owners. Dwayne Sylvester has continued to build hope for communities throughout the metropolitan Detroit area through teaching and building skills.
Teshima Gaines
Clerical Assistant
Teshima Gaines, Clerical Assistant of E.C.O and owner of Heavenly Beauty Kueen Boutique LLC in Detroit, MI has become the newest member of the E.C.O family. Teshima is grateful to God that he has led her to an organization that lets her utilize her talents in flyers, business cards, website building, banners, and much more! Teshima is super excited to give back to the community and show God's people the love and support we all need!
